Mint tea with DXN Reishi Gano Tea
Ingredients
- 1 big handful of fresh mint, naânaâ (≈ 15 g)
- Sugar, to taste (0 to 40 g)
- 4 tea glasses of boiling water (≈ 500 ml, compare with the pack)
- For the children: a few extra mint leaves and 1 glass of hot water per child
Our mint tea, poured from high with its foam, made with DXN Reishi Gano Tea sachets.
Method
- Rinse the teapot with boiling water and pour that water away.
- Make the children's glasses first, with no tea and no DXN product: in a bowl, pour 1 glass of hot water per child over a few mint leaves and a little sugar. Leave for 3 minutes, strain and serve.
- Put 1 sachet per adult glass into the teapot (4 for 4 glasses). Pour in water that has just boiled (about 85 °C after 1 minute off the heat), 1 glass of water per sachet, and let it steep for 3 to 4 minutes. Take out the sachets. If your pack holds a powder rather than infusion sachets, pour it straight into the teapot, 1 sachet per glass.
- Add the washed mint and the sugar. Leave for 2 minutes.
- Pour from high to make the foam, pour one glass back into the teapot, then serve.
Kids' version
A fresh mint infusion (hot water, mint and a little sugar), made at step 2, with no tea and no DXN product, because tea contains caffeine.
